DVD Authoring

DVD authoring describes the production step in which the prototype (master) of a DVD is generated by putting various contents (e.g. film, video, images, audiotracks, subtitles etc...) on a DVD. The authoring of a DVD is hence an intermediate step between post production and mass copying.

On the one hand, DVD authoring describes the process of encoding, i.e. the standard conversion of film and audio contents. On the other hand it focusses on arranging the DVD's contents in such way that its user will find it easy to navigate through its interactive menus.

The main feature of a video DVD is the fact that, by being able to select different audio and subtitle tracks, it allows its users to view the audiovisual content from different angles (Multi-Angle-View).

CineTitles offers professional DVD authoring, from menu design to the consumer ready DVD.

Whether you want multilingual subtitles, audiodescription for the blind and the visually impaired, or intralingual subtitles for the deaf and the hard-of-hearing, we provide you with the right solution for your product and intended audience.
